Description

C.A.R. Fit Fade out thinner is a special mixture of solvents (fade-out thinner) to “melt” edges of spot repairs and fade-out areas. C.A.R. Fit Fade out thinner can also be used to dissolve an old paintworks (Attention: test suitability to avoid unwanted wrinkling/raising of old paintwork) in order to improve the adhesion of the subsequent coating. In this case, C.A.R. Fit Fade out thinner must be applied uniformly on the old paintwork and recoated within a few minutes.

 

Spray immediately C.A.R. Fit Fade out thinner over the border areas (overspray areas). Melt the overspray edges with a very uniform coat of C.A.R. Fit Fade out thinner until the rough overspray become visibly smooth. Do not apply too much otherwise irregular dissolving or runs are to be expected.

From +10 °C and up to 80 % relative air humidity. Ensure an adequate supply and exhaust air ventilation.

 

Processing tips

 

Do not apply on thermoplastic substrates.
